As Managing Partner of Blitz53 Capital, Chad has built a track record in principal investing, transaction advisory, and capital raising across the lower and middle markets, with a focus on sectors including Healthcare, Industrials, Distribution, and Transportation & Logistics.
Prior to founding Blitz53 Capital, Chad spent 16 years as an insurance executive in the Property/Casualty and Title Insurance industries, originating and managing relationships with middle-market and large corporate clients. His experience in building client trust, managing complex transactions, and navigating regulated industries directly informs his work with private funds and growth platforms like American Health at Home.
Chad’s professional journey began on the field as a linebacker for the New York Jets (1995–2000). Known for his discipline and work ethic, he earned all-rookie honors from the Pro Football Writers Association, was recognized by Pro Football Weekly as a top NFL special teams player, and recorded a memorable sack and fumble recovery for a touchdown against Dan Marino in the Jets’ 1998 AFC Championship run. Today, Chad remains active as an NFL analyst with appearances on SNY, ESPN, NBC, and Fox Business.
A Wisconsin native, Chad graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. As a member of the Wisconsin Badgers Football Team, he contributed to the 1993 Big Ten Championship, the 1994 Rose Bowl Championship, and the 1995 Hall of Fame Bowl. He earned Academic All-Big Ten recognition and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Russ Winnie Award for exemplifying the student-athlete ideal.
Chad lives in Old Westbury, New York, and is the proud father of four sons: Jack, Blake, Luke, and Reid.
