Jay Duty

Jay Duty is a healthcare executive with more than two decades of experience working across home health, hospice, and post-acute care. He brings deep healthacre experience to JL Capital Group, with a focus on scaling platforms, improving performance, and navigating value-based care environments.

Jay previously held senior leadership roles at Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Corporate Development Officer, and at Encompass Health as Vice President of Network Strategy. In these roles, he was directly involved in the acquisition and integration of home health and hospice companies, supporting the expansion of national platforms and strengthening continuum-of-care strategies.

At Encompass Health, Jay worked across corporate development, network strategy, and partnerships, contributing to transaction evaluation, execution, and post-acquisition integration. He also collaborated closely with health systems, payors, and accountable care organizations, helping structure joint ventures, implement alternative payment models, and align providers around efficient, patient-centered care delivery.

Throughout his career, Jay has focused on building durable operating platforms that balance clinical quality, operational discipline, and financial sustainability. His experience supports the Fund’s objective of consolidating and stewarding home-based healthcare businesses at scale.
