Mikyle Jessen

Mikyle Jessen is the Managing Director of JL Capital Group, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy, operational initiatives, and long-term value creation across its portfolio. With a background in business development, capital markets, and strategic investment, Mr. Jessen specializes in identifying and scaling high-potential businesses, implementing disciplined financial structures, and driving operational excellence.

Prior to his role at JL Capital Group, Mr. Jessen was the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of National Corporate Credit, where he built the company from a five-person startup into a nationwide firm with over 850 representatives. Under his leadership, National Corporate Credit facilitated over $400 million in small business financing, helping entrepreneurs across industries secure the capital necessary for growth. The company was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in America for three consecutive years.

Following his success in small business financing, Mr. Jessen transitioned into private investment, joining JL Capital Group, an investment firm founded by Joseph Land, where he now oversees business acquisitions, portfolio management, and operational restructuring. His focus is on identifying underperforming businesses, executing turnaround strategies, and positioning companies for accelerated growth and profitability.

Mr. Jessen resides in Charleston, South Carolina, with his wife, Crystal, and their two daughters, Alexandra and Ava.
